Will it fit my ceiling light?
Yes. Each shade arrives ready to hang, with its own cord, E27 lampholder and ceiling fitting, so it doesn’t depend on the fitting you have now.
Prefer to keep your current setup? You can also fit the shade on its own onto the pendant you already have.
Are your lampshades easy to install?
Yes. Fitting the shade onto your existing pendant takes just a couple of minutes, with no electrician needed.
Do I need an adaptor or any extra parts?
No. Each shade comes with its own cord, lampholder and ceiling fitting. If you’d like to fit the shade onto your existing pendant instead, email us a photo of your light fitting and we’ll confirm whether anything extra is needed.
Is a bulb included?
Bulbs aren’t included. All our shades take a standard E27 screw bulb. We recommend a warm white LED bulb: it gives a soft, golden glow and stays cool, which is better for natural materials.
Can I get a longer cord, or use my own?
Yes to both. The cord length is listed on each product page, and longer cords are available on request: just email us before ordering.
You can also skip the cord supplied and fit the shade onto the cord already hanging from your ceiling.
Can I use your lampshades outdoors?
Our lampshades are designed for indoor use. Under a covered porch or veranda, the shade can be used with a light fitting rated for outdoor use, kept well away from rain and damp. We don’t recommend leaving them exposed to the weather.

Which size should I choose?
Each product page shows the diameter and height of every size, along with a size guide.
As a rough guide: around 30 to 40cm suits hallways and smaller rooms, 40 to 50cm most bedrooms and living rooms, and 60cm or more large or open-plan spaces.
Over a table or kitchen island, choose a shade around half to two thirds of its width.

What are your lampshades made of?
Our lampshades are made from carefully selected natural materials: wicker, rattan, bamboo, wood and straw, each chosen for its texture and character.
Materials may vary depending on the collection, and full details are listed on each product page.
Will my lampshade look like the photos?
Your shade will have the same design, shape and size as shown. As it’s made from natural materials, no two pieces are quite identical: the tone and texture can vary slightly, which is part of what makes each one unique.
Would you like a closer look before ordering? Email us and we’ll happily send you more photos. And if it isn’t right for your home, you can return it within 14 days.
What does it look like when the light is on?
The light filters through the natural material, casting a warm glow and soft patterns across your walls and ceiling. More open designs create more pattern, while denser ones give a softer, more diffused light. A warm white bulb gives the cosiest result.
How do I care for my lampshade?
A gentle dust with a soft brush or dry cloth keeps it looking its best. Keep it away from damp areas such as bathrooms, as moisture can damage natural materials.

Our lampshades are sourced from carefully selected supplier partners, with countries of origin that may vary depending on the collection.
Each collection is chosen for its design, finish and ability to bring warmth and character to everyday homes.
Delivery
How much does delivery cost?
UK delivery costs £2.95, with tracking included so you can follow your order every step of the way.
When will I receive my order?
Orders are processed within 1 to 2 working days (Monday to Friday), and UK delivery usually takes 7 to 10 working days after that, so around 8 to 12 working days in total. You’ll receive a tracking link by email as soon as your order ships.
Where do you deliver?
We deliver throughout the United Kingdom.
My order hasn’t arrived yet. What should I do?
You can follow your parcel at any time using the tracking link in your shipping email, or on our Track my order page.
If you haven’t received your order within 12 working days of placing it, email us at contact@maisonhalo.co.uk with your order number. We’ll look into it with the carrier and keep you updated, and if your parcel is confirmed lost, we’ll send a replacement or a full refund.

What is your returns policy?
You can return your order within 14 days of receiving it for a refund or exchange, for both new and used items. Once we’ve received and checked your return, your refund is issued to your original payment method within 5 to 10 working days. You’ll find all the details in our Refund policy.

Is it safe to pay on your site?
Yes. All transactions are secured and encrypted, and your payment details are never stored on our site.
Can I change or cancel my order?
You can change or cancel your order as long as it hasn’t been prepared for shipping yet. Email us at contact@maisonhalo.co.uk as soon as possible, ideally within 24 hours of placing your order.
